If you are getting the test in person, a practical consideration is to make sure your phone is charged. The testing site may ask that you wait outside until you are contacted, or they may use your phone to let you know of any updates.
Many testing sites, such as Avalon Laboratory Solutions, offer drive-through testing. If you are getting a drive-in test, another practical consideration is to make sure your car has enough gas. You may be asked to wait in your vehicle until it is your turn. Some days and times are busier than others, so it’s important to be prepared to wait.
When you get an in-person test, you should bring a mask, as well as your license and insurance information. Also remember to bring a referral from your doctor, if that is requested from the site.
